Um, did you not notice that the only Nighfall skills they gave us acess to were for Dervishes and Paragons? There are still all the new Core profession skills to be unlocked. That's 6 more professions.

I unlocked a very large portion of the Paragon stuff.
I only unlocked a few things for builds on the Dervish.
I unlocked some items, but not a majority of them.
I spent a lot of faction, but hey, that's what the medalions were for... you win, you unlock more, right away. Every 50 medalions (10 wins or less if flawless) = one new unlocked skill.
It's not that hard to unlock it all.
Plus, did you notice how cheap people were selling Medalions?
50g a pop is nothing if you're into spending a very small amount of money to unlock a very large portion of skills that others will not have due to the limited time span of the event. It's fun to try things, use them, and it's just like a race anyways.

And how the hell do are you sposed to have a few million on a single account, you can only have 1 million in storage and 600k total on every other char unless you bought 30 more char slots to store gold on.

Ectos count as cash; at 7k per, a stack of 250 is worth 1.75 mil. Black dyes can also be used to store money...but I wouldn't; price seems too finicky to me.

What exactly is the point ?
I will be unlocking the skills as I play through the proffesions when the game is released.
So not only have you spent all this gold on unlocking them for pvp you will need to spend alot of gold (and time) unlocking them for PvE also!
I guess if your a pvp player only, fair enough, even then though, your leaving yourself nothing to do on Nightfall release..
I hate it when I have full faction and nothing to unlock.. seems an utter waste.

I only unlocked all runes and a few mods and a few dervish skills/elites for my use during the weekend. I stocked up on flames to unlock the rest of the mods but all the other skills i will get through pve (much faster and cheaper in the long run)

Not everyone plays PvE, Snowman. I haven't made it past the second mission in Factions on any character. Haven't had much desire. But I've spent at least 50 hours playing an Assassin in RA, and another 100+ hours messing with various other Factions-only skills.

as I said, if your a pvp-only player.. fair enough!
Still, I would hate to buy Nightfall knowing that I had unlocked all the skills already..
oh, and, if you intend on only playing pvp.. then you miss out on the pvp that is fort aspen and jade quarry, loads more interesting than RA!
in fact, nearly every serious pvp player I know eventually makes pve character because they are fed up with the boring and standard looking armors and weapons.. not to mention the tactical benefits of being able to weild 4 weapons sets, and being able to swap your armor around to suit your situation.
I dont know what nightfall will bring, but certainly they will try and integrate pvp and pve more and more, and I for one would like to wait and see and enjoy the game at a relaxed pace before rushing around unlocking everything beforehand.

Unlocked most dervish skills (all ava except Lyssa), all derv mods, and half of paragon skills/mods. Even had some (20k) faction left to unlock some missing skills of prophecies

Sigh, it's the join date of this forum, not the game. I've been playing since the BWE's, but my joindate here is quite noobish. And ppl have joined other forums like guild-hall and guru....

I spent 124,000 faction on nightfall. I am UAX in phrophecies and factions.
I unlocked all runes and weapon mods for both classes, all dervish elites, all but 4 non-elite mysticism skills, all earth skills and about 4 air skills.
The rest I will probably just buy with a PvE character when the game is actually released.

I'd rather spend 1 day unlocking everything because of the limited time frame on the medallions. You can wait till the release of Nightfall and take 2-3 weeks unlocking everything.
I'll already have all the weapon, runes, and new class skills unlocked.
So I think I have more time for my real life than this game once nightfalls is released.

Unlocking all wouldn't be that hard... I personally got about half of all of it in about 2 days. GvG gave about 46 medals per win + 1200ish Faction...

It's not hard to get faction when you exploit a broken class/build.
